Characteristics and Content of Rhythmic Gymnastics

The movements of rhythmic gymnastics encompass four main elements: jumps, turns, balances, and flexibility. These are combined with five apparatus: the ball, rope, hoop, ribbon, and clubs, along with music and dance to create routines. Therefore, ballet serves as a crucial foundation for rhythmic gymnastics.

Benefits of Rhythmic Gymnastics for Children

Gymnastics give girls an athletic figure, grace and stately posture.

At the same time, gymnastics promotes comprehensive physical and intellectual development. Within the walls of the Academy there is an opportunity not only to be involved in sports, but to also develop mentally.

Group practice further enhances coordination of movements and interpersonal adaptability among peers, while also fostering a sense of teamwork and spirit.

Through practicing rhythmic gymnastics, all joints in the body can be fully engaged, allowing for balanced development of muscles in various areas. This has a positive impact on children's physical development, while also fostering a sense of rhythm, grace, musicality, and expressiveness. Additionally, it can enhance children's self-confidence.
